About Jacques & Associates

Founded in 1993, the central mission of Jacques & Associates has remained constant: help to create healthy, sustainable and successful organizations through the process of leadership development.

While everyone contributes to the well-being and success of an organization, those in leadership roles have the unique opportunity to amplify their own influence and impact in positive and productive ways. Central to our approach has been the guiding belief that leadership starts "from the inside out".

Individuals need to become clear on who they are, what they stand for, why they want to lead, and how they can best bring themselves into the role of leader. It is critical for a leader to have this clarity about his or her principles, beliefs, and goals before they can successfully lead others.

Recognizing that leadership is a relationship, our process focuses first on helping individuals to understand themselves, and then to apply that understanding in practical and effective ways in their work with others. Leadership development is about personal improvement, but it does not occur in a vacuum. The goal is to help individuals to become more effective leaders so that they can:

  • Bring clarity and meaning to an organizational vision,
  • Inspire and motivate others, enable people to succeed, and
  • Recognize and reward employees as they contribute to the successful attainment of organizational goals whether that is increased market share, enhanced return to shareholders, or the more cost effective delivery of public services.
